Style: ladies day at glorious goodwood
We’re catching up on the third day of Glorious Goodwood! One of our favourite events of the year. Yesterday was Ladies Day with prosecco, fascinators and dangerously tall shoes abound.
Being one of the most photographed social events of the year, dressing to impress is mandatory. World class sport practically forms the background to one of the most stylish race meetings in Britain, and it’s not surprising that King Edward VII famously described the event as “a garden party with racing tacked on”.
Against the backdrop of the Sussex Downs and the Solent, the surroundings become the canvas to display some of the Summer’s brightest and most daring outfits. Here are some of our favourites from yesterday:
The best fascinators!
The best use of colour: The daring ladies in red
Best prints:
Best hat to dress coordination:
We're impressed by those metallic heels too!
Quirkiest outfit: a feather beret and a pineapple handbag, why not?
Well done girls!
