Style: Summer Hit List
Make the most of Summer with Gina Bacconi's top inspirations and places to hang out this season all on a theme of green, refreshment, and zen.
Sky Garden
We've got on board with this recent addition to the City of London financial district, a garden complex 35 floors up London's Walkie Talkie (otherwise known as 20 Fenchurch Street). The place is home to a total of three garden terraces, each with a unique theme, with restaurants and bars (NB entry is free, but be sure to book in advance!).
Kyoto Garden
If you're not keen on heights and prefer a more traditional sort of garden (on the ground!) the Kyoto garden is one of London's best kept secret havens. You'll find this little gem in Holland Park where the only sounds in your midst will be the birdcall and the gushing from the streams.
Green Tea
No one can go wrong with a cup of this for a detoxifying alternative to coffee. For a refreshing alternative, try making it over ice and adding some sweetener.
Your summer cocktail: The Mojito
Bars across London are sure to have some of these bad boys on their menu, especially over the summer period. However, if you're bold enough to be making your own, be sure to stock up on limes, mint, and a good white Brazilian rum. Perhaps even hunt down some apple and pear variations for a twist on the classic.
And what to wear? Look no further! We've found the perfect dress...
Corded linen combined with lace for an elegant but breathable choice on those hot summer days. The simple shift shape and dainty cap sleeves complement the pastel mint/turquoise colour of the piece. With white or neutral coloured heels to finish off the look. Now in our summer sale too! Click to shop the dress.
