Your summer social calendar is filling up. From summer weddings to Wimbledon, race days to regattas, for family gatherings, parties and special occasions, you’ll find the perfect Gina Bacconi dress for every event.

The right dress for the right occasion is sometimes all you need. But what if the occasion brings certain expectations with it? For example, some race meetings have different dress codes dependent on the day, or even the Enclosure.

ROYAL ASCOT

Race Day – suiting the formality of Royal Ascot (June 14th-16th) we have a great selection of formal daywear. Watching the races from the Royal Enclosure? Dresses and skirts should be of “modest length, hats should be worn, dresses should have straps of one inch or greater”. The Queen Anne enclosure asks ladies to wear “a hat, head piece or fascinator, and sheer strap dresses or tops are not permitted”. In the Windsor enclosure, racegoers need smart clothes but no formal dress code applies here.

EBOR FESTIVAL

In York, the Ebor Festival in August will be a chance to show off your finest attire. A perfect choice would be our hot pink long pleated chiffon dress – a great summer investment.
